An international machinery and plant manufacturer began operations at a new plant in India. As part of the plant startup, the entire supply chain had to be established and secured\u2014from the local supplier base through procurement, material supply, scheduling, internal logistics, and inventory management to a stable supply for production. <\/p>

As a member of the management team, Richard was involved in the overall operational management of the new site. The goal was to ensure production supply during the ramp-up, establish local procurement and SCM structures, and integrate the new supply chain into the company\u2019s global processes. <\/p>
